Here's the list of forthcoming BCS Guernsey events. All events are to be held at St Peter Port House, St Peter Port unless otherwise stated.

Tues 16th Sept (12:30pm - 2pm) - Project Management
Wed 29th Oct (6pm - 8pm) - Professionalism in IT. Note this event will be held at "Morning Side House" (opposite Ozannes in town)
Tues 18th Nov (12:30pm - 2pm) - tbc
Wed 14th Jan (12:30pm - 2pm) - Software as a Service
Tues 17th March (12:30pm - 2pm) - tbc
Wed 27th May (12:30pm - 2pm) - AGM

Please note that all lunchtime events will include a light buffet lunch.

Just wanted to remind everyone about two forthcoming BCS events.

The first is a lunchtime seminar entitled "Desk Top Virtualisation" to be held on Wednesday 23rd April at 12:30pm. This event is open to both members and non-members.

The second is the Guernsey International Section AGM. This is being held on Thursday 22nd May at 12:30pm. It will include a short presentation on the threats and opportunities of social networking sites.

The venue for both of these events will be the Guernsey Training Agency, St Peter Port House, Saumarez Street, St Peter Port.

BCS Guernsey is concentrating on Virtualisation as the major theme for 2008.

January 16th - Presentation entitled The Environmental Benefits of Virtualisation by VirtualisIT.

Guernsey Careers Convention
Congratulations to Amelia Anderson from St Peter School Guernsey for winning BCS Guernsey's competition at the Guernsey Careers Convention. Amelia wins a £25 nsew voucher.

February 28th - thanks to everyone who attended BCS Guernsey's first Annual Dinner in the Conservatory at Moores.

March 25th - Presentation on Business Continuity / Resilience using Virtualisation by Bob Childs from Itex. Starts at 12:30pm.

April – Presentation on Desk Top Virtualisation to be held on Wednesday 23rd April at 12.30pm.

May - BCS Guernsey AGM to be held on Thursday 22nd May at 12:30pm. This will include a short presentation on the threats and opportunities of social networking sites.
